Open Arms Wildlife Rescue is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization providing care for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife and a voice for the animals with the goal of rehabilitation and release back into their natural habitat or find them suitable homes. Our licensed rehabilitators, located throughout southern Kentucky and southern Indiana work with animal shelters, humane societies, wildlife groups, nature centers, and veterinary hospitals to provide care to creatures in need.
We are also committed to educating the public about the natural history of native wildlife, peaceful coexistence and humane conservation; thereby minimizing the need for rehabilitation efforts. We provide brochures, educational material, and educational programs upon request.
If you are in southern Kentucky or southern Indiana or the surrounding areas, and you find an animal that you believe may need assistance, please call the Open Arms Wildlife Rescue’s Hotline at (812) 547-HELP (4357) immediately as timing is very important when it comes to saving an animals life.
